• This tool allows you to quickly understand the historical trends for key housing metrics in the location you choose.

• Data for the most recent year, if incomplete, is presented as the average of the monthly values.

• If you would like to filter by property type, visit the page "Housing overview (by property type)". Note that at the property type level, the data only goes back to 2000 and does not include as many locations. Also, the sum of activity by property type will not match the figures in the aggregate level analysis as CREA performs some clean-up for unusual items, properties that are more commercial than residential, etc.
